Sophia Clarke –
experience! The ship’s recent restoration makes it sound so luxurious and comfortable, and I love that each room has a panoramic window for stunning views of the Nile. I can’t wait to book this trip!
Lucas Evans –
the Nile, and the MS Tulip sounds perfect. The sundeck with the pool and bar, along with the modern amenities in each cabin, make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Excited to join!
Emily Taylor –
fantastic, especially with the option of starting from either Aswan or Luxor. The cabins look comfortable and the open sundeck with a pool is a great addition. I can’t wait to experience the Nile this way
Willa Jo Pickens –
There was something surreal about watching Egypt pass by from a comfy lounge chair while sipping on cold lemonade. It’s a feeling I didn’t expect. The cruise took care of every detail — they even folded our towels into animals (which cracked me up daily). If you’re a fan of comfort, great views, and smooth logistics, Tulip’s got your back without being flashy about it.
Cliff Hensley –
I never thought a river cruise would be this smooth and stylish. I always figured Nile cruises would be a bit… old-school. But Tulip felt brand new, spotless, and easy on the eyes. Big windows in our room meant I never missed a single scene outside — kids waving from shore, farmers with donkeys, temples in the mist. It was one cinematic moment after another.

One minute you’re learning about crocodile gods at Kom Ombo, the next you’re sipping hibiscus tea in a deck chair. That’s the magic of the Tulip Cruise. It has this rhythm of learning, seeing, and just soaking it all in. The boat never felt crowded, and every stop was perfectly timed to avoid major tourist rush. It felt personalized — even though it wasn’t.

So I came for the history but stayed for the food! The restaurant onboard the Tulip had rotating menus with fresh Egyptian dishes every day. I was hesitant at first, but the lentil soup and grilled kofta became fast favorites. The staff explained every dish and even gave me a spice list to take home. Eating while overlooking the Nile? Doesn’t get better.

We took the Monday sailing from Luxor and those five nights were a blur of relaxation and amazement. The Juliet balcony let me sit with my morning coffee and watch the Nile wake up. My husband said it was the most peaceful trip he’s had in 30 years. And that’s saying something coming from a man who’s worked 12-hour shifts in Montana for decades.
Travis McGraw –
I’m not the “cruise” type normally, but the Tulip’s gym and sauna combo convinced me otherwise. After a dusty temple hike, stepping into that mini spa felt like a scene outta a fancy hotel in Vegas. Then it was straight up to the pool deck to catch the last golden hour light with my feet up. It’s that mix of comfort and adventure that hit just right.
Bonnie Lee Harmon –
Imagine sipping mint tea while the Temple of Philae passes by your window — that’s what this trip felt like. The cruise gave us space to unwind but also got us close to incredible spots like Edfu and Luxor Temple. It was more than sightseeing — it was being in the story. The guide onboard gave fun, bite-sized history talks, which even my 15-year-old nephew paid attention to.
Caleb Hightower –
I wasn’t expecting hotel-quality comfort on a boat, but Tulip proved me wrong. My room had one of those Juliet balconies and modern touches all around — the air conditioning was powerful (praise be), the satellite TV had decent variety, and I loved the daily giant bottle of water. There was even a safe and hair dryer — which my wife appreciated more than I did. We slept like babies every night.
