➢ Payment/Booking Policy (excluding Peak period):
We are offering a low-down payment of just 40% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, therefore, your booking will be a risk-free investment.
➢ Monthly Installments:
We offer you a new payment plan that allows you to pay your tours, Nile cruise, or other travel packages in monthly installments.
You will pay an agreed upon amount every month, determined by the total cost of the tour booked to pay the deposit in 6 monthly installments leading up to your arrival. The balance will be paid upon your arrival in the destination in cash or by credit / debit cards or you can pay the full cost in monthly installments before your arrival in the destination.
➢ Cancellation Policy (Excluding Peak Period):
Cancellation requests should be sent via email to provide the company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
In case you cancel or reschedule your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
● From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged. Or reschedule it and choose another date without being charged anything.
● Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged. You still can reschedule it but with a charge of 15 % more, much better than cancellation and loosing 25%.
● Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 35% of the entire tour price will be charged if you canceled or choosed to reschedule your trip.
● Between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date, 40% of the entire tour price will be charged if you canceled or choosed to reschedule it.
Notice; This policy isn't valid for bookings of Christmas or New year packages.
Additionally, airlines charge fees for both domestic and international flights which are subject to the airlines terms and conditions at the time of the booking.
➢ Cancellation for Christmas, New Year and Easter Vacation:
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
● From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
● Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
● Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
● Between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Additionally, airlines charge fees for both domestic and international flights which are subject to the airlines terms and conditions at the time of the booking.
➢ Refunds:
● A refund will normally be made to the same account and using the same method which was used for the original payment. No refunds are possible in the event of a no show for an existing reservation.
● Refunds will be done only through the original mode of payment.
➢ Accomodation:
Unless otherwise stated, prices are based on two persons sharing a room (twin sharing). Rooms for single occupants are available with an additional supplementary rate. Hotels and lodges are named as an indication of quality and rooms may be reserved at an establishment of similar quality. The monastery was given the name St Simeon by archaeologists and travelers, but earlier Arabic and Coptic sources called it Anba Hatre (Hidra, Hadri, Hadra), after an anchorite who was consecrated a bishop of Syene (now Aswan) by Patriarch Theophilus (385-412 AD).Anba Hatre married at the age of eighteen. Tradition says that just after the wedding, he encountered a funeral procession which inspired him to preserve his chastity and later become a disciple of Saint Baiman.After eight years of ascetic practices under the supervision of his teacher, he retired to the desert and applied himself to the study of the life of Saint Antony. St . Simeon isn’t your average tourist site . It feels remote , sacred , and slightly mysterious . We visited in February , and while it was sunny , the cool wind made it perfect for walking . We joined this day trip in early March , and everything ran smooth as silk . First , the boat took us to the west bank , then came the camel ride — hilarious and wobbly but so worth it ! I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this trip as much as I did , but the whole experience had this peaceful , mysterious vibe that just stuck with me . First , the monastery is in such a cool location — directly across from Elephantine Island . Second , it’s massive , like a desert castle ! We learned it was once a fortress and later used by Christian monks . The old chapel is still visible and worth seeing . Bonus points for how breezy the trip felt .

There’s something about walking into an ancient monastery surrounded by nothing but sand and wind that resets your soul . St . Simeon Monastery is quiet in the best way — calm , spacious , and surprisingly intact for a building this old . We visited between January and April and the temperature was just perfect . The boat ride over was relaxing , and I liked seeing the contrast between the Nile’s lush edges and the raw desert around the site .

A bumpy camel ride took us straight into history and laughter 😄
Getting there was half the fun ! We rode camels through the sandy trails toward the monastery , and although my camel didn’t like me much , the views were worth every bounce . The monastery itself is HUGE — built like a fortress , perched opposite Elephantine Island . It’s hard to believe it’s been standing since the 6th century . I was surprised by how well preserved the chapel interior is . We explored every corner , snapping photos like a couple of amateur archeologists .

We took a boat ride across the Nile to reach St. Simeon Monastery and let me tell you , it felt like stepping into another century . The silence of the desert , the strong monastery walls , and the views over Elephantine Island were simply stunning . I kept imagining the monks walking these same corridors centuries ago . The site dates back to the 6th century , which just blew my mind . The contrast between the golden sand dunes and the rugged structure gave the whole place an air of quiet strength . There’s no traffic , no noise — just history and heat
