  1. Day

Day A.M you will be picked up from your Hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor then you will be transferred by private a/c vehicle to the West Bank of the Nile where you will visit Medinat Habu. It is an archaeological locality situated near the foot of the Theban Hills on the West Bank of the River Nile opposite the modern city of Luxor, Egypt. Although other structures are located within the area, the location is today associated almost exclusively with the Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III The temple, some 150m long, is of orthodox design, and resembles closely the mortuary temple of Ramesses II (the Ramesseum). You will also be able to visit some other temples inside Habu Temple such as Temple of Amun dating to the 18th Dynasty, built by Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III. It has undergone many alterations and modifications over the years. Then continue your day to Deir el Medina, known as The Valley of the worker. Deir el-Medina is an ancient Egyptian village which was home to the artisans who worked on the tombs in the Valley of the Kings during the 18th to 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom period (ca. 1550–1080 BC) The paintings appear so fresh. End your day Tour with a visit to Valley of the Queens it's is a place where wives of Pharaohs were buried in ancient times. In ancient times, it was known as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning –"the place of the Children of the Pharaoh", because along with the Queens of the 18th, 19th and 20th dynasties (1550–1070 BCE) many princes and princesses were also buried with various members of the nobility. You will be returned to your hotel in Luxor.

I’m a visual person , so this tour hit the sweet spot for me . Every wall , every statue had something that caught my eye . Ramesseum’s broken pieces tell a powerful story of time passing . Medinat Habu has vivid images that seem to jump out at you . And the Nobles Valley felt like a secret — colorful , peaceful , and packed with personality . Our guide was like a walking encyclopedia with a great sense of humor . Honestly , I didn’t expect to enjoy a “temple tour” this much , but it felt like an art walk in an ancient world 🎨

  21. Daryl Poe

We didn’t expect so much in just half a day . This tour gave us three different vibes — the grandeur of the Ramesseum , the structure and color of Habu , and the intimacy of the Nobles tombs . I liked that we had options for the start time , and chose to go around 7:30 AM which gave us cooler weather and better lighting for photos 📸 . The guide was spot – on with facts and funny comments that kept it lively . Our car was modern and super clean , and we even had WiFi in it , which helped me post pics instantly .

  22. Thelma Grace Colburn

I loved that this tour was private . No big crowds , no megaphones , just us and the past . Our guide was not only smart but also really kind and fun to talk to . The Ramesseum has this magical ruin – energy — almost poetic . Medinat Habu was so complete , I felt like I was trespassing into a place still in use . The Valley of the Nobles was my favorite because it felt real — you see the daily life of ancient Egyptians , not just kings and gods . Also , loved that the driver had chilled bottled water ready for us 🥤

  23. Waylon Riggs

There’s something about walking through dusty temple columns with a guide talking about ancient wars and rituals that just hits differently . We started early to beat the heat , and it was a smart call . The transportation was clean , comfy , and cool . Ramesseum had a fallen colossus that looked like it had just dropped last week . Habu was so well – preserved it almost felt fake — but it’s real , and stunning . The Nobles Valley was humbler , but full of charm . Tombs painted with party scenes , music , even dancing . Egypt has layers , and this tour peeled some back .

  24. Elsie Jean Thornton

I had seen photos , but nothing compares to standing inside Medinat Habu and looking at those bright , ancient colors still clinging to the stone . It’s like time just forgot to erase them . The Ramesseum was a moody , majestic site — so much silence , so much story . I liked the Valley of the Nobles most for the intimacy — fewer tourists , smaller tombs , and you can really get close to the art . The whole tour was seamless and felt very personal thanks to our private Egyptologist who explained everything so clearly .

  25. Clyde Hollister

I’m usually not into long historical tours , but this one was the perfect length . Just five hours , three iconic places , and a great guide who made it all fun . The Ramesseum was wild — that fallen statue is HUGE . Medinat Habu was probably my favorite , though , with those insane wall carvings . Seriously , you could stare at them forever . The Valley of the Nobles was smaller but had real personality . You could see little moments of everyday life painted on the walls . Our van had cold water bottles and the seats reclined , which was honestly kind of luxurious for a history tour 😎

  26. Maybelle Crouch

This was one of the quietest , most enriching tours we took in Luxor . I loved that it was private because I could ask all my nerdy questions about Egyptian religion and symbolism without bothering anyone . Medinat Habu is massive , but not as packed with tourists like Karnak . The Ramesseum felt more like a ruin , but still holds so much power in its broken beauty . The Valley of the Nobles is underrated — the tomb art there is full of life . Our guide let us take our time , and the pick – up was right on time in a spotless vehicle .

  27. Levi Sanders

This tour was seriously cool — and I mean both the vibe and the fact that we went early enough to avoid melting . Habu Temple was an absolute standout for me . It felt like walking through a temple that still whispered the voices of its builders . The Ramesseum had that classic “wow this is Egypt” vibe with the gigantic statues and echoing halls . The Nobles Valley was smaller in scale but so detailed . There were painted scenes of banquets , music , even wrestling ! Our ride was air conditioned , and the guide didn’t rush us at all . I got sand in my socks but hey , it’s Egypt 😂

  28. Georgia Lynn Wilcox

I didn’t think 5 hours would feel like a full adventure , but this tour proved me wrong . From the pick – up at our hotel in a sleek , modern van to the detailed explanation of each temple , everything was smooth and enjoyable . The Ramesseum was stunning and had such a melancholic grandeur to it . You could just stand there imagining the glory it once had . Medinat Habu , though , really surprised me . I had no idea how well – preserved its reliefs are . The Valley of the Nobles gave a different vibe — less monumental , more personal . Each tomb had a human story behind it . Our guide brought those stories to life .

  29. Cole Atkinson

We started our private tour early in the morning , and honestly , that made all the difference . The temperature was perfect and the sites weren’t crowded . The Ramesseum was massive and haunting , especially that fallen colossus of Ramses II — you can’t help but feel small next to it . Then we moved on to Medinat Habu , which was my personal favorite . The carvings on the walls are so vivid and colorful even after thousands of years . The Valley of the Nobles added a more intimate feeling — smaller tombs but packed with stories . Our Egyptologist guide was friendly , super knowledgeable , and happy to customize the trip at our pace .
