If I had to pick a favorite moment , it’d be the walk around the Sphinx at dusk. The lighting was just chef’s kiss and gave the whole place a mysterious glow.
Everything about the itinerary was smooth and rich with variety — from the high-end hotel stay to the old alleys of Cairo.
Tip : save space in your bag — I left with two mini-statues , three scarves and a bag of hibiscus tea I can’t pronounce.

Every day started early but ended with laughter , amazing food , and cozy hotel sheets. The balance of history and leisure was just right.
The Nile cruise was short but memorable — felt like we were gliding through a painting.
The museum had more mummies than a Halloween party , and each one had a wild story to go with it.
Wanda Faye Collier –
Cairo surprised me in the best way. We visited between January and April and had great weather. The sun was kind, the crowds weren’t too wild, and every corner had a story.
The Egyptian Museum is basically a treasure chest and the bazaar is full of life. The pyramids left my husband speechless, which never happens 😄
Honestly , the guides made the difference. They were funny , informed , and kept us engaged without overwhelming us.
Randy Boyd Milsap –
This trip was the perfect combo of rugged and refined. You’re walking through centuries-old tombs one moment, and soaking in a bubble bath at a sleek hotel the next. I didn’t expect Cairo to have such amazing hospitality.
The transportation was seamless — air-conditioned buses, bottled water, always on time. Made everything feel easy.
Highlight for me? Watching the sunset from a felucca on the Nile. Felt like I was in a movie.
Becky Lou Hensley –
Five days went by fast but were filled to the brim with excitement. Giza and the Sphinx were absolute showstoppers, of course, but I also loved wandering the alleyways of Islamic Cairo.
We got to cruise the Nile for a bit and it gave us a break from the traffic and the hustle. Super peaceful.
Don’t skip the bazaar — it’s loud, crazy, beautiful, and full of treasures if you know how to haggle.
Earl Glen Whitaker –
We’re still buzzing from this Cairo trip. The hotels were surprisingly fancy with all the bells and whistles — comfy beds, good Wi-Fi, and excellent breakfasts.
I geeked out over the Pyramid complex, but the museum was where my wife really lit up — she’s a history buff and said it was like walking into her college textbooks. The guides had perfect English and told stories that brought the mummies and pharaohs to life.
Oh and the local food? Hummus heaven 😋 I’m still dreaming about that falafel cart in downtown Cairo.

Our trip was in March and it was the perfect blend of culture and chill. The Giza Plateau was massive — honestly bigger and more awe-inspiring than I imagined. I could almost hear the stones whispering tales from centuries past.
The Egyptian Museum was a nerd’s paradise (which I loved) and the felucca ride was serene — I never imagined Cairo could feel so calm.
Big love to the drivers who always had the van cooled just right and to the staff at the hotel who greeted us like family.

This was my first time in Egypt and it blew me away. The Egyptian Museum is so full of fascinating artifacts I lost track of time — especially the Tutankhamun section which felt straight out of a Hollywood adventure.
The guides explained every detail with humor and heart. And then there was the Khan El Khalili bazaar — spices, silver, chaos, music — it was like walking into a dream with a soundtrack. I snagged a handmade ring and drank tea with a merchant who swore he knew my cousin in Texas.
No joke, I came for the pyramids but stayed for the energy. Cairo is alive and kicking.

We went during February and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The entire trip had a really nice rhythm to it — big sights in the morning, chill cruising or museum stops in the afternoon.
The pyramids were the real deal, but I was extra impressed with how well organized everything was. Even the camel ride near Giza was smooth and the camel seemed friendlier than I expected. Our hotel had rooftop views that gave Cairo a magical glow at night 🌃
The Nile cruise was short but so peaceful. I sipped mint tea while watching Cairo drift by and honestly felt like Cleopatra (just with better plumbing).
Great food, great pace, great people.

A golden five-day gateway full of stories, pyramids and pure magic
Whew, what a ride these five days were. From the moment we landed, it was like opening a living textbook — but with better food and air-conditioning. We kicked things off with the iconic Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, which honestly left me speechless for a minute or two. I mean, you know they’re old and epic, but standing right in front of them is something else.
The Egyptian Museum? Packed with wonders. The guides really knew their stuff and made even the smallest statues seem legendary. The Khan El Khalili market was a chaotic wonderland of spices, scarves, and shiny stuff I didn’t know I needed.
And y’all, floating down the Nile with the city lights twinkling was just the cherry on top. Our hotel was super comfortable, and we had modern vans with A/C for all transfers. I don’t remember walking more than I needed 😅
