A luxurious escape with doses of ancient magic along the way
We cruised from Luxor and every stop felt like a postcard come to life . Temples so big they make your jaw drop , stories from the guides that gave me goosebumps , and sunsets that made me wanna write poetry 🧡 .
Back on the Royal Princess , it’s pure comfort . Room service was quick , towels were fluffy , and there were always sweets at dinner . Even the lobby looked like something from a movie — gold tones and polished marble .
It felt like we stepped out of time , into luxury .

A seamless journey through time with all the modern luxuries
This was our first Nile cruise , and the Royal Princess delivered more than we imagined . The rooms are classy , the beds are soft , and the windows gave us golden hour views that looked like paintings 🎨 .
We loved the guided tours , but also appreciated the chill time . Some days we just lounged and watched the river roll by — so calming .
The design of the boat was impressive too , especially the restaurant and its shiny floors . Staff kept everything tidy , and meals were always served with care .

Floating through ancient history with unexpected comfort and fun
The Royal Princess takes you past some of the most iconic landmarks of Egypt , and you barely have to lift a finger . I loved how we could relax on deck with a drink while our guide gave us little stories about the gods and pharaohs .
We learned about Sobek , the crocodile god , right before we docked at Kom Ombo — wild stuff !
The cruise is smooth — no seasickness here — and feels more like a moving hotel than a boat . Staff are always smiling , and the coffee never runs out ☕ .

Peaceful mornings and dramatic evenings on the Nile
We woke up each day to the sound of birds and a light breeze coming through our open window . That quiet glide across the Nile is what I’ll remember most .
Royal Princess isn’t just clean — it’s elegant . There’s this fragrance in the lobby ( like orange blossom maybe ? ) that makes you feel welcome instantly .
One night we had live music on board , and let me tell you — hearing Arabic love songs while moonlight dances on the water is something else entirely . My wife cried , in a good way ❤️ .

Every deck brings a different view — and a new surprise
From the lower deck kitchen smells ( delicious ! ) to the rooftop sunbeds , this cruise offered something different at every turn . I loved peeking behind the scenes too — we got a glimpse of how the boat runs , which was fascinating .
The itinerary is well-paced : morning adventures , lunch buffet , then relaxation . If you’re a fan of ancient myths , visiting Horus Temple or Karnak will hit deep . I almost cried seeing how massive those statues were .
Also — kudos to the housekeeping staff who made towel animals that looked like actual zoo exhibits 🐘 .

Exploring Egypt’s wonders from a deluxe floating hotel
Y’all ever dream of cruising the Nile like them old-timey explorers ? Well , the Royal Princess is the way to do it — but with air-con , white sheets , and an endless coffee supply ☕ .
We boarded from Aswan in early April . The cabins are much bigger than I expected , and the windows make you feel like part of the landscape .
The food deserves its own review honestly — I had stuffed vine leaves I still think about . Everything ran on time , and even the excursions were smooth as butter .
There’s even a tiny boutique onboard in case you forget a hat or want some souvenirs .

Unexpected elegance in every corner of this cruise experience
The Royal Princess isn’t just a Nile cruise — it’s a boutique hotel that floats . I loved how each level was thoughtfully designed , especially the main deck with that open lobby and comfy couches .
Even though it’s a five-decker boat , you never feel cramped . There’s room to wander , sip a drink , or chat with folks from around the world . The boat was clean , secure , and smelled like lemon polish every morning 🌿 .
Staff were professional but funny too — Mahmoud the bartender had jokes for days . I kept thinking how perfect this would be for a honeymoon or anniversary trip .

Temple hopping by day , luxury lounging by night
This cruise made it real easy to switch between Indiana Jones mode and full-on spa mode . We spent our days exploring ancient ruins in Kom Ombo and Edfu — the kind you only see in National Geographic — then came back to hot showers and velvet linens .
The Royal Princess has five big decks , and the restaurant is down on the lower one — buffet heaven , y’all ! Everything from falafel to pasta , and always fresh fruit too 🍉 .
What surprised me was how quiet the cabins are . Didn’t hear a peep at night , even with engines running below . Solid insulation or ancient Egyptian magic ? Not sure .

Deck views , date palms and dazzling sunsets over the Nile
We joined the cruise in March and spent most evenings on the top deck . There’s nothing like seeing those fiery Egyptian sunsets while palm trees whisk by and birds glide overhead .
The boat itself is very modern and sparkly — no wear and tear , everything feels well-kept . The main deck lobby had this classy gold-and-marble vibe that made us feel very fancy 😌 .
Each day came with different adventures off the boat — temples , marketplaces , and quick history lessons that even my husband enjoyed ( and that man hates museums ) . At night , it’s all peace and quiet on the river .

Sailing like pharaohs on a floating hotel fit for royalty
We boarded the Royal Princess from Luxor in early February and y’all… what a dreamy boat ! This thing is a floating palace — elegant lobby , spotless restaurant , and five decks of full-on comfort . Our cabin was sleek and spacious with huge windows for Nile-gazing . I swear I saw a camel wave at me 😄 .
My favorite part ? Watching the golden desert roll by from the top deck with a chilled hibiscus drink in hand . You get this sense of timelessness that’s hard to explain .
They’ve really nailed the blend of modern luxury and ancient magic . The staff were charming too — full of jokes and genuine hospitality . If Cleopatra had Wi-Fi and air conditioning , she’d live on this ship .
