A peaceful , cultural journey through Egypt’s ancient wonders 🛶
This cruise made ancient Egypt feel alive. From Luxor to Aswan , we visited temples that looked like movie sets , only real. Our cabin wasn’t big but had everything we needed. What I loved most was sailing quietly on the river — no honking , no chaos , just breeze and beauty. In the evenings , they played traditional music and served mint tea. The staff had warm smiles , and it made all the difference

Affordable Nile cruise that still felt rich with experience
I’ll be honest — I picked Hapi V for the price. But it really surprised me. The Nile at dawn was straight out of a movie. The temples were mind-blowing, especially Abu Simbel which we visited on an optional excursion. Food was a mix of buffet and local flavors. It wasn’t extravagant, but it had character. There’s something humbling about floating past 4000 years of history with a cold drink in hand.

Three nights , ten temples , and a thousand laughs 😄
We cruised from Aswan to Luxor and laughed nearly the whole way. Our tour group had a great mix of personalities, and the crew kept things light and lively. The chef even came out one night to teach us how to make falafel. Everything about the boat was basic but clean — beds comfy, bathrooms decent, and always hot water. You’re not there for the jacuzzi (there isn’t one), you’re there for the adventure!

Simple comfort , epic locations , and lots of Egyptian hospitality
This cruise isn’t fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. The MS Hapi V gives you just enough comfort to enjoy the jaw-dropping sights like Philae Temple and the High Dam without distraction. Staff were polite and helpful, and the air conditioning worked like a champ in that heat. There’s a sense of flow — both from the river and the trip planning — that made it super easy to relax.

Relaxing on the Nile with wine , wind , and warm vibes 🍷
After a week in Cairo traffic, the Hapi V cruise was the breather we needed. It felt like a floating hotel with charm and rhythm. We’d sip wine as the Nile coast rolled by — scenes of palm trees , villages , donkeys , and kids waving from the shore. The crew was gentle and attentive , not overly formal. I spent hours on the top deck journaling. The whole experience was meditative.

Temple-hopping by day , stargazing by night 🌟
This cruise had us walking through history by day and drifting under constellations at night. We explored temples older than dirt — seriously, 3000 years old — and returned to find our beds freshly made and dinner hot. The guides were knowledgeable without being boring, and the boat moved smoothly. Don’t expect ultra-modern — it’s more “cozy nostalgia” than anything. Perfect for history nerds who still want AC and a hair dryer.

Hapi V was a great way to blend luxury with a bit of chaos
If you’re into a mix of pampering and unpredictability, the Hapi V is your jam. Sure, the cruise claims 5 stars but it feels more like a funky 3.5 — in the best way. We had a mini-bar, AC, satellite TV (which we never used), and strong showers. But the real star was the Nile itself. Waking up to birds chirping along the banks while sailing south was dreamlike. Bring sunscreen and a curious spirit.

Comfortable cabins , killer views , and sunset surprises every night
We weren’t sure what a 3-to-4 star cruise meant, but we got comfy cabins with AC and lovely views. The itinerary was tightly packed, so we saw tons — Valley of the Kings, Edfu, and more. One night the sky turned this deep orange over the Nile and everyone just stood in silence. The atmosphere on board was casual, lots of people chatting and sharing stories. It felt like a little floating community.

From Karnak to Kom Ombo, this was one unforgettable floating adventure 🌞
We boarded the MS Hapi V in Luxor with zero expectations and came away absolutely dazzled. The ship took us right through the historical core of ancient Egypt. Karnak Temple nearly made me cry — it’s that big and beautiful. The cruise team helped arrange all the excursions, and the guides were surprisingly passionate and funny. One even acted out scenes from Egyptian mythology. The boat is compact, not glitzy, but clean and very atmospheric.

Sailing the Nile on Hapi V felt like time traveling in style
We joined the Hapi V from Luxor in March and had a splendid four-night cruise. The boat itself had a charming, retro elegance even after the 2017 renovation. Our cabin had panoramic windows, and we loved lounging in bed with the sun rising over the Nile. The onboard food was decent, especially the Egyptian dishes. The rooftop deck was where most of the magic happened — sipping hibiscus tea while watching temples glide by. It’s not ultra-luxury, but for what you get, it’s solid and scenic.
