A Cruise Full of Wonders from Start to Finish
From our first moment aboard the Mayflower Nile Cruise , it was clear we were in for a real treat. Exploring Timeless Egypt in Pure Comfort and Style
The Mayflower Nile Cruise took us on a journey through ancient Egypt without sacrificing a shred of comfort. I could not believe how quiet and smooth the ship was gliding along the river. The staff was incredible too , always smiling and quick to help. I spent countless hours on the sundeck watching rural villages and palm trees roll by , sometimes with a cold drink , sometimes just soaking it all in. There was magic in every sunrise and sunset on the Nile.

Epic Egyptian Adventure Aboard a Five Star Floating Palace
My stay on the Mayflower Nile Cruise was packed with epic moments. I adored the traditional Egyptian storytelling sessions in the evenings , where we gathered under the stars. Discovering Ancient Egypt with a Splash of Modern Luxury
Sailing on the Mayflower Nile Cruise was one of the most surreal adventures we have had. The blend of Egyptian history with top – notch modern comforts was genius. We marveled at Karnak Temple , visited Valley of the Kings , and then relaxed with a cocktail on deck under the stars. Every cabin had thoughtful touches like a coffee maker and a huge flat screen TV. The Royal Suite we stayed in came with a minibar restocked every day ! Sailing the Nile in Absolute Style and Comfort on Mayflower
We had an amazing time aboard the Mayflower Nile Cruise during our trip between January and April 2025. The ship was pure luxury , from the moment we stepped in , it felt like floating in a five-star hotel. The stateroom was spotless , with a cozy bathtub , a mini fridge full of goodies , and fast internet that actually worked ! We loved sipping coffee on our private veranda while watching ancient temples glide by. One of my favorite parts was the Executive Lounge where unlimited drinks were a serious treat. Egypt’s timeless beauty combined with Mayflower’s elegance made every moment unforgettable.
Tammy Sue Callahan –
Best sleep of my life between ancient ruins and Egyptian night skies
I slept better on the Mayflower than I do in my own bed . Blame it on the gentle sway of the river , or maybe the plush pillows and black–out curtains . Either way , I woke up refreshed and ready to take on each new temple like Lara Croft in linen . Also , the sunrises ? Unreal . Like waking up inside a postcard
Waylon Griggs –
Nile breezes , golden sunsets , and marble bathtubs — enough said
There’s nothing quite like stepping into your suite after a day of ruins and finding the minibar stocked , your slippers waiting , and your window facing ancient Thebes . I could get used to this lifestyle . Also , shoutout to the on–board WiFi — surprisingly good signal in the middle of the Nile
Loretta Pickens –
From hieroglyphs to hot tubs , this cruise had every layer of Egypt
Don’t ask me how they combined comfort , culture , and comedy so well , but they nailed it . Every day we toured temples like Medinet Habu or went to small local markets , and every night we returned to warm towels , fresh juice , and sometimes a surprise belly dancing show . I’ve got 327 photos and zero regrets
Travis Bellamy –
Mayflower gave five nights of Nile dreams I didn’t want to end
One word ? Smooth . Everything from the check–in to the final dock was just easy . The boat was spotless , the itinerary was balanced , and the guides were not only smart but hilarious . My favorite part ? Sundowners on the upper deck as the Nile turned orange . Egypt looked like a painting , and I was lucky enough to float through it
Nadine Buckner –
The cruise where I learned Egyptian history , dance , and how to nap like royalty
You know it’s a good trip when you leave with history facts , belly dance moves , and a 10/10 nap record . The cultural evenings were the highlight — live music , Nubian dance , and some seriously sparkly outfits . We visited Luxor Museum too — small but packed with artifacts that felt personal . Also , props to the bar staff for making hibiscus tea a personality trait
Colt Abernathy –
Ultra–luxury meets ancient wonders on the Nile , and I was there
Let’s just say the Mayflower Cruise spoiled me forever . From the marble–floored lobby to our Executive cabin with unlimited drinks , I was absolutely pampered . The rooftop deck was my go–to , especially during golden hour . Seeing the Temple of Horus after floating up the Nile felt cinematic . This wasn’t just a cruise — it was a slow , elegant adventure through history
Mabel Harkins –
Luxor to Edfu and back again with elegance , laughter , and mystery
This cruise wasn’t just about seeing sites — it was about feeling Egypt . I laughed my way through the Galabeya night , gasped during the Kom Ombo sunset , and nearly cried at Philae Temple ( tears of wonder , I swear ) . The boat was luxurious but never stuffy , and every little detail — from the towel animals to the mint tea — added charm
Jed Rowland –
Waking up on the Nile is the best alarm clock I’ve ever had
There’s something surreal about waking up to gentle waves and the call of morning prayers drifting from distant minarets . Mayflower’s deluxe cabins made it feel like we never left home—actually , it was better than home . Hot showers , soft sheets , and that dreamy AC were life–savers . Bonus ? The staff made us feel like royalty ( without the royal taxes )
Delilah McCoy –
From five–star food to pharaohs’ footsteps , this cruise had it all
Okay , let’s talk food . Imagine a buffet that outshines half the weddings I’ve been to . From fluffy Egyptian bread to melt–in–your–mouth lamb , I was living my best culinary life . Each night , we’d dine while sailing past palm trees and ancient ruins , like something out of a dream . Karnak , Luxor Temple , and even a mini desert trek ? Unreal .
Earl Whitmore –
Sailing past Luxor’s temples felt like time-traveling in a bathtub of gold
The Mayflower Nile Cruise was a ride straight into ancient glory and modern comfort. Every morning, we woke up to views of the Nile that made coffee taste better. I still remember the Karnak Temple—those giant columns really humble you. The suite? Think Hollywood meets Cleopatra. Mini fridge stocked, soft drinks on repeat, and AC strong enough to tame the desert. The veranda made a perfect spot for sunrise shots.
