  1. Day 1: Aswan / Herdiab

Day 1: Aswan / Herdiab Morning/Afternoon: Your journey begins with a private pick-up from your Aswan hotel or the airport. The first essential visit is the majestic Philae Temple, the ancient center for the cult of the goddess Isis. Historical Highlight: This romantic and majestic complex, famously relocated by UNESCO between 1972 and 1980 to save it from the rising Nile waters, has lured pilgrims for millennia. Boarding & Cruise: Transfer to the Dahabiya, enjoy your first delicious lunch onboard, and begin cruising toward the peaceful mooring spot of Herdiab. Evening: Dinner and overnight stay aboard the Dahabiya.

  2. Day 2: Herdiab / Kom Ombo / Djebel Silsilah

Day 2: Herdiab / Kom Ombo / Djebel Silsilah Morning: Enjoy breakfast while sailing toward Kom Ombo. You'll visit the unique Dual Temple, standing prominently on a bend in the Nile. Temple Visit: Kom Ombo is dedicated equally to two gods: Sobek (the crocodile god) and Haroeris (the hawk god). This beautifully preserved sandstone temple dates from the Ptolemaic era. Afternoon Exploration: Lunch is served onboard as you cruise to Djebel Silsilah (Gebel el-Silsila). On the west bank, explore the Speos of Horemheb—a rock-hewn chapel dedicated to Pharaoh Horemheb and seven deities. You will also visit the ancient quarry where stones for Egypt's great temples were extracted.

  3. Day 3: Bassaw / Edfu / El Hegz

Day 3: Bassaw / Edfu / El Hegz Morning Culture: Savor breakfast while cruising to Bassaw, an old fishing village largely untouched by mainstream tourism. Authentic Immersion: Stop in this small village for a direct, non-commercial interaction with the local community. There is an opportunity to learn and even try traditional fishing methods used by the ancient Egyptians. Afternoon Temple: After lunch, visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. The Temple of Horus at Edfu is the most completely preserved Egyptian temple, dating from the late Ptolemaic period. The site dominates the friendly modern town, known for sugar and pottery. Evening: Sail and moor overnight at El Hegz.

  4. Day 4: El Hegz / Esna / Luxor

Day 4: El Hegz / Esna / Luxor Morning: Enjoy a final breakfast onboard while cruising from El Hegz toward Esna. Disembarkation: Upon arrival near Esna, you will disembark the Dahabiya. Departure: Transfer by private car directly to your hotel or the airport in Luxor, concluding your serene Nile sailing adventure.
