“This day trip from Port Said to Cairo was an incredible way to experience Egypt’s ancient past in just one day! The Pyramids of Giza are, of course, the highlight – the sheer size of these wonders is unbelievable. Standing in front of the Great Pyramid, it was hard to believe I was looking at something so old and magnificent. The Great Sphinx, guarding the pyramids, was another sight I’ll never forget. After Giza, we headed to Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid, which was equally impressive. I loved that this tour gave me the chance to see such a diverse range of ancient sites in a short period. The trip was well-organized, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Egypt’s history, making the experience all the more enriching. It was a perfect introduction to Egypt’s ancient monuments, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area. The day was packed with history and awe-inspiring moments, and I left with a deep appreciation for Egypt’s incredible heritage!”

This wasn’t just sightseeing — it felt like a true dive into the mysteries of ancient Egypt . We had a wonderful guide who made the experience personal and interactive .
What stood out the most for me was Sakkara . It felt sacred in a way that’s hard to explain . You can actually walk into some tombs and see carvings from thousands of years ago 🏺.
The Pyramids were epic of course , but this tour gave me a sense of connection I didn’t expect .

This was easily one of the best shore excursions I’ve ever taken . The team was punctual , professional , and the guide had a great sense of humor .
Seeing the Pyramids of Giza has always been on my bucket list , but Sakkara was the unexpected gem . We saw tombs , walls with ancient carvings , and even some restoration work in action . It gave me a new respect for ancient engineering .
Highly educational and fun .

We had about 10 hours in port and this tour used every minute wisely . No wasted time — just pure Egyptian greatness . We started at the Giza Plateau , and wow — the pyramids absolutely dominate the skyline . You feel tiny next to them .
The Sphinx was mysterious and surprisingly detailed . After that , heading to Sakkara gave us a new angle on Egypt’s architectural evolution . It was quieter and somehow even more impressive because of its age . A must for history buffs

If you’re worried about heat or crowds , don’t be . These folks run a super organized and comfortable tour . The air-conditioned vehicle was such a relief between stops , and they had Wi-Fi on board too .
Giza was naturally jaw-dropping , but I really appreciated the way the guide broke down the historical timeline between Giza and Sakkara . He made it clear and fun — we were laughing a lot but still learning . Perfect mix of adventure and education 😄

This tour felt like reading a live history book . We were amazed at the size and precision of the Great Pyramid , and our guide explained the stories behind each structure so vividly .
I didn’t know much about Sakkara before this , but now I can’t stop telling people about it . It’s not just older — it’s also quieter , and the desert views around it are straight out of a movie . Everything was well-paced and the tour didn’t feel rushed . Big fan of how easy the whole process was .

Who knew one day could include so much history ? From the moment we left Port Said , we felt like we were transported back 5,000 years . The highlight for me wasn’t just the Great Pyramid ( although , yes , it’s mind-blowing ) — it was how well organized and relaxed the entire experience was .
The team knew exactly how to beat the crowds , and we got great photos without other tourists in the background 📸 . We even stopped at a local place for a tasty Egyptian lunch . A memory I’ll carry for a long time .

This tour really nailed it when it came to balancing time and content . We got picked up right outside the port gate and whisked away in a clean van with AC (thank you 🙌🏼) . Our guide was upbeat and funny , sharing stories about pharaohs and ancient customs that made the sites come alive .
We walked along the sand near the pyramids and even saw a camel or two . Later in Sakkara , the site felt like a secret treasure — less crowded , older , and still impressive . Totally worth a full day out if you only have limited time in Egypt .
Clint Dawson –
Our day started early but it was absolutely smooth from pickup to drop-off . The minibus was modern , had great AC , and the guide even handed out water bottles ( thoughtful touch ) . Of course , seeing the Giza Pyramids was epic , especially when we walked up close and saw the massive stones up close . But Sakkara ? That’s where you really feel how ancient this land is .
There was less crowd , more mystery , and the guide explained the importance of Imhotep’s design of the Step Pyramid . If you’re into true archaeology vibes , that’s the spot .
Lena Mae Carter –
I finally did it 😍! I’ve dreamed of seeing the Great Sphinx since I was a kid , and standing right in front of it was more surreal than I imagined . I couldn’t stop taking pictures ( and selfies ) . The guide gave us plenty of time to walk around , snap pics , and ask questions . The transportation was comfy , clean , and we felt safe the whole time . Sakkara was a bonus I wasn’t expecting to love so much — the Step Pyramid looked incredible and the area was much calmer than Giza , giving us time to soak it all in .

Exploring Giza and Sakkara was the highlight of my cruise stop
We booked this tour during our ship’s stop at Port Said, and boy, it was worth it . The drive to Cairo was smooth and air-conditioned , with a very knowledgeable guide who kept us entertained the entire way . Standing in front of the Pyramids of Giza felt unreal — the photos don’t even come close to the real thing . The Great Sphinx was just as impressive , and we learned so many fascinating things about its symbolism . Sakkara was quieter but equally stunning , especially the Step Pyramid which is actually older than Giza’s . It felt like walking through time .
🕌 Don’t skip this if you want a quick but rich immersion into ancient Egyptian history .
