    Day 01: Wednesday – Aswan's Engineering & Ancient Art (Lunch & Dinner) Upon your morning arrival in Aswan, our local representative will meet you and provide a smooth transfer via private, air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise vessel for check-in. Shortly after settling in, you will join your expert tour guide for a captivating afternoon of sightseeing. The tour begins at the Aswan High Dam, a monumental construction built in the 1960s under President Gamal Abdel Nasser, crucial for storing the Nile's water and generating electricity. Next, we travel to the banks of the Nile to board a motorboat, which will take us across the water to Agilkia Island, home to the beautiful Temple of Philae. This stunning temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, dates back to the Greco-Roman period (3rd century BC). Our final visit for the day is the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the ancient granite quarry in Southern Aswan, offering valuable insights into the stone-cutting techniques of the Pharaohs. Following the tour, we return to the cruise boat for dinner and overnight stay in Aswan.

Our first stop will be the city of Kom Ombo. Here, we visit the unique Temple of Sobek & Haroeris. This rare "double temple," completed during the Roman era, was jointly dedicated to the local crocodile god Sobek and the famous falcon god Haroeris (Horus the Elder). We then return to the boat for rest and refreshment as the cruise continues its journey. Later, we disembark in Edfu to visit the magnificent Temple of Horus. Built during the Ptolemaic period, this temple is considered the finest preserved ancient Egyptian religious structure in the land of the Nile, with its structure and inscriptions almost fully intact. After this enriching visit, we return to the boat for dinner and overnight stay.
