The Abundance Dahabiya: A Traditional Sailing Ship

The Dahabiya, or “golden boat,” is a colonial-style vessel inspired by the elegant sailing yachts of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Crucially, this traditional sailing ship operates without a noisy engine or generator, instead being gently towed by a small tugboat on a $40\,\text{m}$ rope. This silent navigation ensures a truly peaceful and authentic journey, allowing you to hear the sound of the sails and the gentle lap of the water.

Luxury Amenities Onboard:

  • Size: $35\,\text{m}$ long, $6.5\,\text{m}$ wide.
  • The Sun Deck: A huge shaded sun deck of $200\,\text{m}^2$ is the heart of the ship, offering panoramic views perfect for relaxation.
  • Cabins: Four spacious cabins, each approximately $12\,\text{m}^2$, feature twin beds, two windows, a wardrobe, and a private bathroom with a shower and a small tub.
  • The Suite: One opulent suite spans $22\,\text{m}^2$ and includes a private balcony, two windows on each side, glass doors across the width, a refrigerator, a kettle, and a $4.5\,\text{m}^2$ private bathroom with a shower, small tub, and a hairdryer.
  • Public Spaces: The ship also features a comfortable salon and sitting areas, equipped with water filters for the suite and salon.
  • Modern Comforts: A/C in all cabins, WiFi in all areas, and a Pool are available for your comfort. Each room includes a Private bath with Shower, TV, and Mini Bar.
