There’s nothing quite like seeing the treasures of ancient Egypt up close. Gold, statues, even ancient beds! Our guide knew all the best rooms to visit without the crowds. We got there early and avoided long lines. Afterwards, we had lunch at a restaurant with views of the Nile and I tried molokhia soup for the first time. It was weird but delicious. The rest of the trip was just as smooth – nice hotel, good van, and amazing history lessons daily.
