Later when Amenhotep died, his successor, Thutmose IV once again began to initiate a number of changes, including the addition of a roof to cover the original temple’s open style forecourt Then you will visit the Temple of Derr , Ramssess II is certainly one of the most recognizable figures in Egyptian history because of his long and victorious reign, and the many temples and structures he built during this period. Finally you will visit the Tomb Of Pennut , If you follow a simple path that leads away from the two temples, you’ll soon find yourself coming face to face with one of the rarest sights in Egypt – a rock cut tomb belonging to a Viceroy of Kush. 14. Jasper Lee

I’m not the group-tour type but this one changed my mind. Every part of it had thought behind it. The pacing, the food stops, the luxurious cabins on the Nile and Lake Nasser cruises—flawless. Learning about ancient gods while sipping mint tea on deck was something I didn’t know I needed. Also, Alexandria at the end gave me a chance to eat fresh seafood and explore Roman ruins by the sea. Epic from start to finish

  15. Autumn Keller

From dodging Cairo’s traffic to relaxing in a luxury cruiser on the Nile, this tour had it all. I felt like a queen in every city. The history was richer than I imagined, and our guide made even the hieroglyphs seem like juicy gossip from 3000 BC. Lake Nasser was quieter and more haunting in the best way. Alexandria added a chill Mediterranean vibe to wrap it all up perfectly

  16. Rhett Duncan

I didn’t expect the Lake Nasser part of the cruise to be my favorite, but wow. Sailing in near silence past tombs that barely anyone sees? That was magic. Abu Simbel is a must, and seeing it from the water was unforgettable. The boat felt like a floating boutique hotel. If you want to feel like a Pharaoh without the politics, this is the trip

  17. Gracie Palmer

Imagine waking up in your cabin to see Kom Ombo sliding past your window. That’s what this trip was. Every day was a mix of chill boat mornings and mind-blowing historical stops. Our guide was like a walking museum, but funny and super down-to-earth. The hotel in Cairo had views of the pyramids that made me gasp. The whole trip felt like a dream with room service

  18. Declan Moss

Okay, so the temples in Karnak and Philae were incredible, but what really shocked me was how smooth this whole adventure ran. From the airport pickup in Cairo to our final walk along Alexandria’s Corniche, it felt curated without being robotic. The Nile cruise had just the right level of fancy without making it stuffy. Lake Nasser was so peaceful I almost forgot to take pictures. That’s how good it was

  19. Savannah Boone

Every part of this trip brought a different mood. Cairo was loud and alive, buzzing with horns and stories. Then came the Nile cruise—smooth, sunny, cultural. Luxor to Aswan gave us temple after temple and just when we thought we’d seen it all, boom—Lake Nasser. Cruising that lake felt like we were drifting through ancient silence. The contrast made it all so dynamic. Hotels were 5-star, and the food never let us down

  20. Waylon Sharp

We started in Cairo and ended in Alexandria, but in between was like stepping into different worlds. Luxor and Aswan were packed with temples that made me feel like Indiana Jones with better accommodations. The Lake Nasser leg had this eerie beauty. You’re cruising past ruins that barely see tourists but are just as grand as anything in Luxor. It’s the kind of trip where the transportation is half the fun

  21. Lillian Tate

I’m still in denial this trip is over. We covered pyramids, tombs, temples, and cities without once feeling rushed. Everything was so well-paced. The Nile cruise was magical and peaceful, while the Lake Nasser part felt more like a hidden treasure. Less touristy, more ancient mystery vibes. Our boat had a sun deck I basically lived on. Alexandria surprised me with its mix of Roman and Egyptian flair. 10/10 would do it all again if I had the time

  22. Colton Ray

Sailing two rivers in Egypt should be on everyone’s bucket list

Cruising both the Nile and Lake Nasser in one trip? That’s luxury adventuring at its finest. I never thought I’d watch sunsets over Abu Simbel from a boat deck, but here we are. The cabins were comfortable, the food was better than expected (seriously, try the grilled kofta), and the guides had answers for questions I didn’t even know I had. From Cairo’s chaos to the stillness of Lake Nasser, this journey gave me both adrenaline and zen

  23. Madeline Brooks

This tour was basically a history book that came to life but with better food and air conditioning. The pyramids? Mind-blowing. The cruise down the Nile? So peaceful I started questioning my city life choices. But the Lake Nasser cruise was the real plot twist. It felt like we were the only people on Earth sailing through time. The ship was modern, super comfortable, and the view every morning was like opening your window into 3000-year-old artwork. Alexandria at the end added a Mediterranean flavor that made us feel like we’d traveled across several countries. Hats off to the team that made this all flow so smoothly

  24. Marsha Kay Ledbetter

All of Egypt in two weeks with aircon and fluffy towels
The itinerary covered it all without feeling rushed. We had time to chill on deck, explore ancient ruins, and sip something fizzy on rooftop lounges. Highlights for me? Definitely Kom Ombo’s crocodile mummies and the view of the High Dam. 🐊 The Lake Nasser cruise felt off-the-beaten-path but ultra-smooth. Alexandria gave a sweet little city break before flying home.

  25. Travis Dean Holcomb

Felt like Indiana Jones with a minibar and better shoes
The temples at Luxor and Karnak knocked me out. The cruise was like drifting through a museum but with jacuzzis and mango juice. Abu Simbel came out of the rock like a dream. 🏺 We even had an evening on Lake Nasser where we spotted desert foxes. Back in Cairo, we squeezed in the Museum and ended it all with fish lunch in Alexandria.

  26. Charlene Sue Maddox

Cruising two rivers with the same passport was cooler than expected
The mix of Nile and Lake Nasser cruising gave us the full Egyptian buffet — culture, comfort, and some wild stories from our guide. 🤠 Our Nile cruise included a dance night that I somehow won — do not ask for photos. The Lake Nasser section felt exclusive and peaceful. Ending the whole thing in Alexandria made it feel like a Mediterranean getaway with ancient twists.

  27. Darryl Keith Morgan

Great mix of comfort adventure and storytelling all over Egypt
Cairo was loud and lively — in a good way. Our hotels were near perfect, with top-notch breakfasts. Then that Nile cruise? Peaceful yet exciting. Every stop had a story and a photo op. I especially liked Philae Temple, felt like we stepped into a living painting. Lake Nasser was quieter but gave space for deeper exploration. Alexandria’s catacombs surprised me — way more interesting than I thought.

  28. Betty Lou Granger

Ancient statues pyramids and luxurious boat decks yes please
The variety in this trip was insane — one day I’m staring up at the pyramids, the next I’m lounging on a deck floating down Lake Nasser, with sweet mint tea in hand. 🚢 The staff on both cruises were attentive and funny. Aswan’s vibes were unbeatable and Abu Simbel had my heart pounding — I thought it would be cool, but it was jaw-dropping.

  29. Waylon Eugene Hobbs

Woke up to pyramids and fell asleep to temple sunsets across the Nile
From the moment we landed in Cairo to the lazy sunsets over Lake Nasser, everything flowed beautifully. Every site was a wow-moment. Transport was clean, quick, and comfortable — no chaos, just calm transitions. We spent a night on the Nile where the temple of Kom Ombo lit up the sky. Alexandria was more relaxed, a perfect way to end.

  30. Jolene Ann Pickett

If you’re into golden temples and plush pillows this one’s unforgettable
I’m still dreaming about the Karnak Temple, honestly. The guide brought ancient Thebes to life, and then we’d return to our modern cruise ship suite with air conditioning and fluffy robes. 🍹 The Lake Nasser cruise was like discovering a secret chapter of history — fewer crowds and jaw-dropping ruins. Loved walking the streets of Alexandria with their mix of Roman and modern flair.

  31. Cletus Ray Blevins

Our journey across Egypt felt like a time-traveling luxury dream
We started in Cairo, where I saw the pyramids and Sphinx in real life — my jaw still hurts from dropping. Then, we cruised along the Nile on a ship that felt like a five-star hotel with a view that constantly changed. Lake Nasser was the unexpected gem, peaceful and dotted with hidden wonders. Ending in Alexandria with its blend of history and sea breeze was the cherry on top.

  32. Loretta Mae Donahue

From pharaohs to falafel this trip had it all and more
Okay so I didn’t expect to fall in love with every single stop, but here we are. Luxor had me questioning if I was born in the wrong millennium, and the cruise ship was nicer than my first apartment. 😂 Evenings were mellow with cocktails and ancient stories. And the desert views from the Lake Nasser deck? Took my breath away. The transportation was smooth like peanut butter — flights, buses, boats — all seamless.

  33. Billy Joe Cartwright

Sailing through Egypt’s history was just pure magic under the sun
From the Pyramids of Giza to the dreamy waters of Lake Nasser, this was a ride through time — in serious style. The accommodations? Plush and spotless. The Nile cruise portion had us floating past ancient temples while sipping cold hibiscus juice. Then came Lake Nasser, which felt like we were the only souls on a secret adventure. Abu Simbel at sunrise? Unreal. And let’s talk about Alexandria — walking along the Mediterranean while munching on fresh seafood is how I wanna end every trip.
